[Panthera Leo] Lion's can be recognised by their yellow-brown coat and are found throughout Africa. At 1.2m high and 1.5-2.4m long they are the second biggest cat in the world. The lion's population since the 1950s has been decreased by almost half and currently there is less that 21,000 left in the wild. //
